De interbedrijfse regatta voor biodiversiteit

Een dag van regatta's ten dienste van biodiversiteit.
Train met je crew op je zeilboot. Een skipper helpt je om de boot onder de knie te krijgen. Daarna neem je deel aan de interbedrijfregatta.
Breng de avond door in een sportieve en ontspannen sfeer, samen met je gasten en andere bedrijven.
De opbrengsten van het evenement zullen bijdragen aan het aanplanten van een netwerk van Corporate Forests, in samenwerking met Natagriwal (aanplanting), Ma Ferme (locatie) en La Bardane (opvolging en onderhoud).

Het Bedrijvenwoud
Door deel te nemen als zeilboot “Oak” of “Canopea” wordt u mede-oprichter van het Bedrijvenwoud, een unieke plek voor biodiversiteit en welzijn, vlakbij Brussel. U draagt bij aan concrete acties zoals:
- Het planten van bomen en hagen om het ecosysteem te verrijken.
- Het creëren van vijvers en vochtige zones om de lokale fauna te verwelkomen.
- Toegang tot het bos voor een moment met collega’s of om deel te nemen aan de boomplantacties.

Most frequent questions and answers
Do I need any sailing experience?
No, you don’t need any experience to participate and to enjoy your sailing day. You will be accompanied by an experienced skipper who is used to sail with beginning crews.
Will I have the opportunity to steer the boat?
Yes, all crew members will have the opportunity to participate to the different sailing maneuvers, including steering and sail trimming.
Should I be afraid of sea sickness?
No. Sea sickness also hits sailing champions and it does not stop them to sail around the world. Seasickness can be prevented or limited by various means, such as wearing warm and comfortable clothes, staying outside to look at the horizon, eating and drinking (water) regularly, etc.
Do I need specific clothing?
No. We provide the safety gear such as life jackets. Just check out the weather forecast the day before and make sure to dress comfortably and to wear a raincoat and appropriate shoes (with white soles). Depending on the weather, we will also provide you with sailing pants, and we have some spare jackets for you.
What happens if the weather is too bad?
In general, there is no bad weather, but only bad equipment. However, should the weather really be too bad, we always foresee a second date.
My firm is not interested, but I would like to participate. Is it possible?
Yes. We arrange boats with mixed crews in order to allow any interested person to be part of this event. Individual or small group registrations are possible. You can register as an entire team with people from different organizations.
Must all crew members be legals?
No. We love rules but are not exclusive. It is also a great opportunity to invite clients or other non-legal colleagues.
I have my own boat, can I participate?
Of course! Personal boats are very welcome. It is also a nice opportunity for you to compete against other boats. However, in order to keep the competition fair, only sailing boats of at least 34 feet will be accepted. We will also ask you to sign a liability waiver as the boat and crew are in your hands.
