The Skipper Training path
Our skipper training covers all the theoretical and practical basics you need to become independent on a sailing boat and take your loved ones out to sea safely.
📖 1. Theory – “Understand to do better”: 7 Tuesday evenings in March–April 2027, in Brussels and online (in French). A separate session will be organised if there are enough registrations: dates to be defined.
⛵️ 2. Practice – “Do to understand better”: 4 days on board in Nieuwpoort, at weekends from April to November. Practical lessons are given in English.
🎓 3. The exam (optional) – if you have the required level, take your licence, which lets you charter a sailing boat anywhere in the world (Belgian “GENERAL” licence = equivalent of the European “ICC”).

Group evening classes to understand the principles of navigation and the regulations, and to prepare for the exam. For the classroom evenings, a meal order is organised during the break. The current session is given in French; a separate session will be organised if there are enough registrations: dates to be defined.

Group lessons on board, given in English: you choose from the available dates and join an existing group. Working in a small group makes learning more personal and more effective.
